A New Path

     "Blue Fanfare" was born in a store display of generic navy blue aprons that reminded me of my beloved BYU Cougars.  I just remember some words popping into my head, "Rise and shout, the COOKIES are out!" and my life changed.  The idea of making aprons to sell kept teasing my brain while I watched the Cougars play ball in the Marriott Center, doubting that other women out there were extreme fans like myself.  No sooner did I form the question when I looked to see an older woman standing right beside me, shouting and punching her fist in the air.  The question was answered and I began studying the art of fabric painting.
